The potential for rental income is excellent as the typical traveller to Bequia tends to be those who shun the all-inclusive type holiday. The house design shown here takes that into account with the main accommodation being on the upper floor with a self-contained two bedroom apartment below.
A lot of visitors to the island seek the independence of self catering accommodation whilst taking advantage of the wide range of restaurants that Bequia offers. A number of established restaurants have relocated to the Ocar area including Coco's Place and L'Auberge des Grenadines both highly ranked by Tripadvisor reviewers.
At the bottom of the hill you will also find a delicatessen and bakery, all within a 5 minute walk from the plot. A further 10 minute walk takes you into the main harbour town of Port Elizabeth which boasts a range of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets. Here you will also find the market selling fresh fruit and vegetables, various shops, two banks and the petrol/gas station.
